    iPhone 4G prototype

    iLinky

Gizmodo seem to think it's genuine.

Yeah yeah, what processor does it use...

    Of course it was 'lost'

Yeah, it does seem likely that it's a plant.

Thoughts on the design? I'm not sure I like the sharper edges but will be interested to see how it feels in the hand.

Looks good. I'm all for thinner when compared to the 3G/S.

Also thumbing through the OS4 features (on Gizmodo too). Some good stuff there which pretty much slays the major criticisms of previous iterations.

          It runs Flash, then?

I don't miss it. Seriously, what does it offer me on a mobile?

Gizmodo claim that Apple have sent a letter - They want it back

Isn't this a case of handling stolen goods and as the owner has been identified they have an obligation to hand it back immediately?

                I smell a rat.

                  1) Not UK, so laws are different.
                  2) They got it in good faith, identified the owner and said if you formally ask for it back you can have it.
                  3) Was it even stolen?
                  4) They are giving it back...

Re Flash, aye, same here, dont want it on my desktop and certainly dont want it in my pocket. What does it add to my desktop bar annoying ads and 10th rate games. granted, theres some very very good animation shorts done in it, but i can view these anyway via YouTube.

New 4G looks good. My 3G contract is up in a few weeks, what to do??!? Not going to get a 3GS and be tied to it for 12/18 months! Heard some providers will go to a month rolling contract after your 18 months are up so hope thats the case then i can wait.
