What kind of useful employ do you hope to find for public sector rejects?

Still not enough, 500,000 is less than 10%.

The massive debt will continue to explode unless that whole 160 billion annual deficit is reversed.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

John Philpott, the CIPD’s chief economic adviser, said a 10 per cent reduction in the 5.8m core public sector workforce was probable, “dwarfing anything implicit in the election manifestos”.
