    Space Cadets

I've always suspected that I'm a bit of a Space Cadet until I watched tonight's Horizon.

    All about real Space Cadets.

Rutan and SpaceShip One seemed the most sane.

Apart from his association with the bearded wonder from Virgin...

An alarming percentage appear to be in IT of one form or another.

    Scarey.

And they've taken $10m in deposits already. Must be Google employees cashing in a few share options.

They are real. I worked in the same building as the Virgin Galactic guys in Mayfair for a year.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
