Murex 3.1 Vs MxG2000

THere is a wealth of knowledge on this forum and Murex purposefully hides information - Does anyone know what the difference between these two are?

I ve always wanted to learn Murex and judging by Jobserve there is a lot of demand for 3.1 and nothing for MxG2000....

Are they comparable? Is there much difference
