You're well out of date. In order to achieve a simpler and fairer tax system, we have replaced those questions with a single question.

    ***form ref HYGAM01***
    (1) Have you got any money?

    ***form ref HYGAM01 supplementary notes***
    notes on question 1:
    Go on, have you?
    Are you sure?
Have you checked in the pockets of your other jacket?
I thought I saw your gran give you a tenner in 1980 - can't you give us that?
Well, we'll be back next week anyway.

      Special message for Hector:
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Actually makes sense. Data mining on major purchases registered via DVLA / Landreg against tax records etc would highlight a large number of tax evaders very easily. IMHO of course.

            Hector owes me money.

Not a lot, just some interest on the massive amount of corporation tax I paid early before leaving the country, in the days HMRC used to pay interest on early payments.

            Pay up!

              Which One?

Do you have an offshore bank account?
              Yes, several.

              National insurance number.

Do you pay for your holidays by cash?
              Usually.

What was your self certified income when you applied for a mortgage?
Mortgage? Had one of them years ago but then they stopped being tax efficient.
