    if in 1998 you'd bought Apple stock instead of the original iMac, proudly displayed on your desk, your £1,299 would now be worth £46,413.

      I had a tour of a school recently, every class had 20-30 21" iMac's...

      ...all running Windows XP.

        If you bought the original iMac and still had it in good condition then it would probably fetch more on Ebay...
