Lazy flippers have had all day, I had to wake up the old dear who was minding our local polling station.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

You're talking about Drewster again aren't you!

If he wanted to have voted he could have. He'd only have wasted it on the BNP anyway.

This whole thing is like the George W election... people not on lists, turned away, etc, etc. What was the name of that film?

It's a total cockup, but unless the winner anywhere wins by less than the number turned away, who cares...

It calls the whole result into question. There will be legal challenges.

If no party has overall control then there will be chaos as the maths will change on an ad hoc basis.

            It's grim, really grim.

They can't even organise an election in the UK now.

As I understand it, some of them turned away at 10pm had been queueing from before 7pm and had returned from even earlier because of the queues.

              Not exactly lazy flippers, then...

They went to their polling stations at nine in the evening, FFS.

I went to my polling station - in an inner-city area - at nine in the evening and didn't have to wait at all.

They obviously live in areas over-full of people who are as indolent as I am. Serves them right. They should choose their neighbours more wisely

Some areas did not have enough ballot papers for all the people that turned up, so they were turned away...

This looks like it might be a Florida and come down to the law courts deciding who the government is!

                    Doubt it very much.
