Bob discovers new source of cheap labour

Telegraph: Call centre firm to employ Indian prisoners

Inmates at the jail are currently the equivalent of less than 20 pence per day for making furniture, but if they are hired by the jail's new call centre they will earn up to £1.50.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

This was in The Register yesterday - Outsourcing goes inside

US prisons have long recognised the economic possibilities of their prisoners and there are a wide variety of public and private businesses which use prison labour. Apart from making license plates and post bags, these include supporting back-office functions and even running call centres for airlines.
"Hello is that the BA call centre?"
"Yes. Can I be having your credit card number please?"
