Oh dear - you've exiled yourself to some miserable Eastern European tuliphole - and this is why? So you can use a BBQ?

For £130 you could emply someone for 24hrs worth of BBQ time not only to turn the chicken but also to serve it up.

Paddy, using the same logic, are you suggesting the kitchen should not have miele applicances, granite worktops, and solid oak furniture and instead the same money should be spent on employing the kitchen team from a restaurant ?

compared to the kitchen appliances, the Weber Rotisserie is a bargain

You're one of these sad materialist fookers whose kitchen is for show and who can't make toast, aren't you?

              afternoon Sas,

which end of the bi-polar are you today ?

to attempt to answer your question and without getting down to the discussion of culinary expertise, in our house at least, the kitchen is probably the room in the house where we spend the most time, in which case, why not to have the room well equipped and comfortable and resulting that spending time there becomes a pleasure rather than a chore ?

Hmm, thanks but no, I'll continue sticking it on the griddle as usual. Cooks just fine that way. (and doesn't cost £130 )
