    Paying for it

I'm a little bit confused by this article

    It says:

It aims to create a safer environment for sex workers and prevent children being lured into the industry.
I thought it was illegal but this, to me, 'semi-legalises' it...and then

The definition of a brothel will change so that two or three prostitutes can work together in a bid to improve safety. Under current laws it is legal for one person - and no more - to operate from a flat as a prostitute.
So prostitution is illegal unless you do it from a brothel?

    However, what is...

Does this give you hints on how to get a better price?
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Escorts seem to operate very publicly and seem to be totally legit, why others not allowed?

Because it upsets the editor of the Daily Mail. Most criminal justice legislation is driven by last week's editorial.

Prostitution has been legal for years (ever?).

However there are a bunch of ancillary crimes. The one that spring to mind are:-

Operating a brothel (if >1 prostitute - soone to be 3).
        Soliciting - hooker make suggestions
Kerb Crawling - potential john make suggestions
Living off immoral earnings - somebody elses, your own is fine. Remember to put them on a tax return though.

It is perfectly possible to operate legally as a prostitute.

So, why escort agencies openly publish ads in mags - surely they are soliciting? I mean they have this BS, which is that they only let gentlemen get escorts for time, and anything happening between them is up to private individuals, surely its the kind of bull that any court will see through, so why they allowed to operate?

I wonder if Mr. Brown will force them into IR35, seeing as they always work from their fixed place brothel and have a fixed rate. Though they could argue that they have multiple clients.

              Pros on IR35

And there is little to no mutuality of obligation.

Drugs. Go easy on the buyer to make it look like you're concentrating resources on the seller, who's the real criminal. Minimal effect.

Can I be home secretary please? It sounds like a right giggle.

But are they working through a Limited company? If not, IR35 does not apply because they are on Schedule D.

More public sector workers for Gordon Brown Inc.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

                    I preferred version 1!
