Couldn't believe it this morning driving in. 5 Live spent most of the hour talking about the kidnapping of B.Liars son. Turns out it was only a rumour. No arrests, no investigation, no comment by the police. So what are New Lie trying to sneak in by the back door today as all the newspapers concentrate on the story that matters most ???????

Sounds like a spot of sympathy fishing to me.
Invented by New Labour spin doctors to "make Tony look good". -
Total and utter non-story. This is just so Tony B'Liar: losing popularity so he tries to drum up some sympathy. The man is utterly disgusting and unprincipled, and using a young child, sick.
And then there is the media for jumping on it. So crass.
The country has not only gone to the dogs, the dogs turned their noses up at it.Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.

Well "Gordo" has been hogging the lime-light...
Tony needs to let himself be seen as the family man.
This way it's three birds with one stone, it reminds us of the constant terrorist bogeyman, it takes the limelight off "El Gordo" and shows us all how much of a loving caring nice family guy Tony really is.Comment

Stinks of Campbell-esque techniques. Simply an opportunity to discredit a thorn in the "new" liebour machinations.
Heartened to hear on the radio this morning that many people are either (a) not bothered or (b) have written in to suggest it's a government tip-off.
However, the media are really trying to push this into major news - the radio has not stopped broadcasting this as their #1 story.... pathetic...
Glad some of the populace is waking up to the many facets of government spin...If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.Comment

Looks like an attempt to discredit Fathers 4 Justice.
Start a little whispering campaign and let the press do the rest...
"No real reconnaissance was carried out, no actual kidnap attempt was made, no-one has been arrested, and the police are not convinced those at the centre of the alleged plan had the capability to carry it out."Comment

Don't you know? - According to most people on this board, everything is labour's fault.Comment
