The Cheer Up Gordon Brown thread

Spare a thought for our previous saviour of the world; he's now benched, and no matter how many "Economics for Dummies" books he reads, he's never going to get a similar contract again.

So ideas please, on how to cheer up the gentleman.

    Here's one:

"Cheer up Gordon, the UK's got hundreds of billions of debt to pay back (and the cuts will harm nearly everyone), but you won't have to pay a penny. In fact we'll continue to pay you a nice pension. See - it's not all bad!"
Speaking gibberish on internet talkboards since last Michaelmas. Plus here on Twitter

"There is a discount on rope this weekend in your local hardware store. This is a once in (your) lifetime opportunity to buy 9 feet of rope an brush up on your noose tying skills. Go get 'em Tiger, grrrr"
"Condoms should come with a free pack of earplugs."

"Chear up Gordon. Now you have the time to catch up on all those 'Downfall' videos that they made about you."
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

At least Lord Prescott is a step in the right direction to getting the Lords abolished:

                a) Even more people will dislike the way that hereditary peers, the church and political appointees can have such a say in our law.
                b) Far fewer of them will be able to fit in the chamber.

Prescott will make many want to bring hereditary peers back!

There are many sh** ex-politicians and political appointees in the Lords. How many sh** hereditary peers were there?
