    Fooking koonts! - help needed

Short story long... booked a hotel in Amsterdam, cocked up and booked July instead on June!

Called to change dates and was told they didn't have rooms for the dates I wanted, so cancelled online and stayed elsewhere, after noticing no refund had been made I contacted them again... "sorry sir we do not do refunds"

Now I'm pretty good at getting my own way in situations like this BUT they are not budging!!!

Now before I re-instate my booking and give it to a couple of filthy crack whores to use, does anyone have any suggestions on getting my refund?

After emailing the management I got the following reply.

    Dear mister MMM,

Thank you for the below email in which you explain your situation.
    We have verified your booking.

The rate you had chosen came with special conditions which are:
    - non-refundable
    - non-changeable
    - direct prepayment from the given creditcard

When you finalized the booking, you have agreed with these terms and conditions.
Unfortunately we cannot reimburse the money back to your card as we make these special rates based on the specified conditions and we therefore assume that the booker is aware of the conditions and also agrees with those.

    Trusting the information is sufficient.
Please contact us if you have any further questions.

    Kind regards,

Claim it back off travel insurance or resell it to a stag party.

Looks like you cocked up. The T & C seem to suggest that they are not obliged to refund, but if you ask nicely they might refund in the hope that you will stay with them again.

Not sure from below if you're saying you paid with credit card?

If you did, drop your credit card company a line and tell them that you dispute the charge on your account.

They will put it in dispute and will put the ball back to the hotel. You can then argue that their system put the wrong date.

Seems an excitable, "goes off half-cocked" sort of chappie to me.
