I met a guy from Korea who was berating the fact that during the match on Wednesday, there were only 2 supporters in S.A. cheering on North Korea against Brazil -I told him to cheer up - it was two more than were there cheering on Scotland

Will the real contenders please stand up... Have any of the so-called front runners actually put in a decent performance yet (probably Germany thumping the Aussie's).

Outbreaks of quiet clapping and then on with their work here in Switzerland.

Is there a World Cup on?

Horns-a-blowing-and-much-a-cheering here. My only hope of a decent night's kip is that there's plenty of time to drink themselves to sleep before my bedtime.

Nobody at work this afternoon. Everyone came in early so they could escape early. ('tis only a small office)

There's a good chance that Spain may now meet Brazil in the first knock out stage should they qualify but fail to win the group... nice!!
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Well it is a break from the canine predilection, but still pretty much Beazer Homes League quality. If you don't up your game a bit soon, I fear the Mods may have to rename you..............something more applicable...........Trog maybe?
