Mythbusters once tested a myth related to shooting 'magic bullets', i.e. shooting someone without leaving a bullet. In this case using ice, meat and gelatin bullets, none of which were effective, barely penetrating the artificial skin, with the ice bullet vaporising in the barrel. The meat bullet caused a slight flesh wound.
