Can anyone recommend a good one? Which ones do you use? To the panel.

      Define good.

Widest choice of stock markets traded, lowest cost, nicest GUI.

Are you going to trade bonds, gilts, ETF/ETC, PIBS, covered warrants, Open ended / closed ended investment trusts...

      Jeez.

Can anyone recommend the best cheese please.

If you are asking such a basic question ( assuming it is a genuine one) then you really should not consider share dealing at this moment.

            WHS.

Stick to the Lotto. Better returns, safer, more predictable.

I would ignore the arrogant know it alls personally. It's quite possible to invest for the long term and make money without knowing what all of

bonds, gilts, ETF/ETC, PIBS, covered warrants, Open ended / closed ended investment trusts
means, although it is worth finding out. Perhaps join up somewhere they are likely to offer helpful advice? The Motley Fool is quite good.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Thanks for all that. Hope you feel better.

Mainly just basic shares (BP for example) and would like to play around with CFDs and simple spreadbets. I've been using bullbearings for years and am a member of the Motley fool.
