    Jira

I'm acting as the tech lead on a small project, small enough there is no system admin type. This leaves me in charge of messing about with SVN and bug-tracking systems.

Damn, but Jira is complicated. My preference is Fogbugz which is just easy and also has great UI, in comparison Jira is a behemoth. Must be 10X as many things to tweak, 90% I don't need but make it very hard to find how to use the ones I do. Not to mention the UI is looking dated... every change is a full screen re-draw which makes it slow when doing lots of changes. Needs a nice Ajax overhaul IMHO.

    Grr!

I rather liked Jira. I never had to tweak it though ...

I like using it, just not administering it
