Anyone ever been paid twice by error by agency

Here's one for you lot and no politics involved.

Has anyone ever been paid twice for the same weeks work by their agency, said nothing and managed to get away with it?

    Just asking like.

Don't worry, it's only a matter of time before they notice ...

Normally I would agree, but given the continued inability of the shower involved to do even the simplest things correcty , I'm not so sure they will notice.

I think it comes down to being prepared to pay the fair amount of tax on the additional invoice.

No but I did once order a computer and they sent 3 by mistake - and never asked for them back
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

          I preferred version 1!

I sort of got paid twice - once I sent my timesheets and invoice in Swiss Francs, as usual but they paid me the same number in British Pounds! At the time the exchange rate was like 2.5 Francs to the Pound...didn't say a thing...no one seemed to notice! Also it helped that it was towards the end of the contract too!

Isn't this a case of middle class crime/fraud?
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

I once worked at PJ Morgan in Bournemouth where one contractor was paid twice and another contractor who sat opposite the first was paid nothing. The first contractor did mention to the other that he was paid twice, then the second did notice that he had not been paid at all and complained. The error was rectified and the agency asked for a cheque from the first contractor - which he did pay.

My first ever contractor pay check was paid twice.

                    That was 7 years ago.

Still haven't asked for there money back

Also had a vat rebate that I wasn't due. 3 years ago.
