    Phew What a Scorcher!

My outside thermometer says 100 degrees F

(it's mounted on a stone wall, so undoubtedly reads higher than the air temperature. Nevertheless, it's very hot !)

    Dual inside/outside thermometer here.

    Inside 28° C.
Outside 48° C (OK the sensor was in direct sunlight when I looked, now down to 43.5)
Behold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.

For some reason the lyrics to a song by Dennis Leary came to mind, "I walk around in the summertime saying "How about this heat?""

This was not meant for you. The thought came to me yesterday when I heard some people outside talking.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

I must be the only one wating for this heatwave to end.

At least when it rains, I don't have to water the garden every evening

4.3°C on top of Titlis, Engelberg. But sunny.

Hmm they're talking about a hose pipe ban in the North west, It pisses down for 10 months of the year, then we have 4 dry weeks and its bloody water rationing

I like the warm weather as long as I'm near a bar and poolside .....
I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this

Yep! If we get a ban here, I can kiss all my hard work earlier this year goodbye

I don't like the warm weather even with a bar and pool nearby. Roll on Autumn

28 degrees indoors even with every door and window open in the house
