Woken up this morning at 4.30 a.m. by a building alarm over the street which had gone faulty and had been blaring away on and off for about two hours.

Phoned plod, who of course couldn't give a toss unless I could see a crime in progress. Which there wasn't.

Could not get back to sleep

I'm knackered. A day in the pub (Grand Prix & Football) beckons...
