On an even brighter sporting note

We have a replay of the 1990 world cup final to look forward to. German TV is already showing footage of Maradona crying when he received his losers medal, and one of the Argentinians scored both goals in the Champions league final that Bayern Munich lost. They are also, arguably the best two sides in the tournament.

This, I think, will be a game to remember.

We also have Spain .vs. Portugal and Brazil .vs. Chile to look forwards to before then.

    I love the world cup.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

    Well said that man.

Time to focus on teams that know how to perform at the highest level.

Watched the Argies v Mexico this evening. Good entertaining match with a bit of everything, and a 3-1 win for the Argies.
Their first goal was clearly offside, and yet the linesman/ref gave it, much to the chagrin of the Mexico players...particularly after a replay of the "goal" was immediately flashed up on the giant screen for all to see. Not a great day for that reactionary dinosaur Sepp Blatter and his "no technology" mantra.
Some form of video replaying has to be implemented at the top level. It has to come............it is only a matter of time really, despite him doing his best King Canute impressions.
