    BBC Baroque Doc

Last night was bang on, full of correct factual information with no hyperbole or adding of dramamtic effect. The Baroque art of Rome however needs no hyperbole, Bernini, Borromini and Caravaggio were genuises of their respective art. All the places shown I've visited myself on my Baroque trip. When I go to Rome I usually visit the sights in a thread so to speak. One time I'll do Republician Rome, another Imperial, another Early Christian, another early Renaissance etc. I find it gives continuity and context rather than jumping millennia.
But I discovered nothing else but depraved, excessive superstition. Pliny the younger

Leave it out Troll. The nearest you have ever come to sampling the real flavour of Bella Italia is "Two-for-one Tuesday" at Dominos Pizzas.
