Is it legal to work on a second short term contract in another country, while you are already working on one?

    Pike?
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Generally it’s OK, presuming you are working via your Ltd Co.

This is depressing. We have got so much business legislation nowadays that somebody is asking whether it is legal for a company to have two or more concurrent customers.

        Yes it is.

I am actually working through an umbrella company.

Also I have a work visa of one country...but I can go into another for visit.

But the second contract is so short...that i am hoping no one will notice.

Can you give more details? Are you British/EU
working offshore or offshore working in the UK?

              I do hope not

Assuming you have your own ltd and that the new gov have not changed the law allowing businesses to have more than 1 customer. It's fine.

If they have changed the law to restrict businesses to 1 customer, does anyone else want to swap with me. I seem to be the NTL customer and would be willing to swap with anyone who is the customer of a major UK airline or a car company, preferably German.

              TIA

If he/she is from outside the EU and working via an umbrella company then the chances are that arrangement is illegal never mind taking a second contract.
