    Definitely the gastronomical highlight of my soujourn en France so far.

        Horse meat is not allowed to be sold in the UK.

        We still butcher it here though.

          The problem with selling it here may be the (legal) use of Bute in the treatment/management of navicular disease in the equine populatton.

          I'd rather the animals were butchered here. Transporting animals such a long distance to be killed is unforgiveably cruel.

            I stayed on a campsite in France where they used to charcoal grill minced horse burgers. They were lovely.
            ...my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...
