    Very possible Northern Lights display over UK tonight.

    Just a quick heads up - if you are out and about tonight from 22:00pm onwards look to the North and check to see if you can see the Northern lights. Clearly the further North you are based (located) then the better are your chaces of seeing it


    Right now there is a coronal mass ejection (oh err!) from the sun that *could * produce one of the best aura displays over the UK for years...

        Right. I'm going to pop across to the local racecourse and climb the hill in the middle. That way I can see the entire horizon.

        Will report back in an hour.

                    I live in Northumberland and the sky is very clear tonight (almost no cloud), my house has fantastic views being on the side of a hill and I can see.........
