    Claim for clothing??

    Talking to a contractor friend of mine who claims for tailored shirts with his company name on the pocket and cuffs

    Anybody else do this? Accountant said it was a grey area...

    Unless it was a necessary uniform or protective clothing, and can't see how it would be for a contractor, can't see HMRC allowing it. Others in news with good cases haven't got away with it. Probably on here somewhere:
