UK May Share Aircraft Carriers With France

    Here

Presumably we'd get the use of it in situations where the French have bottled it, collaborated, run away, gone on strike etc?

Nah. Double runways. One Red White and Blue one pointing in the direction of battle, t'other (Any colour but with a Yellow streak down the middle) directly away from it.

Currently Britain's two aging vessels - HMS Ark Royal and HMS Illustrious - are sometimes both in dock at the same time.
I remember being at 'Navy Days' down in Plymouth when the previous Ark Royal had its swan song.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

France and UK bomb their own side and save fuel; as per "Catch 22"

The Brits, under the command of Leuitenant Hornblower launch a 'cutting out' expedition. Under cover of darkness they remove the fuel from the Frog side of the ship, rendering the cheese-powered reactor useless.
Without power in one of the props, the 'Prince Charles De-Gaulle' sails around in little circles which makes it impossible for the Frogs to launch their stunt-kites from the flight deck.
This allows the harriers to gain air superiority and so they carpet bomb the Elysee palace with Roast beef and carrots, and straffe all of the garlic from the Eiffel tower. The war is won..

At least we won't be sharing submarines. Imagine the smell.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'
