    This Is England '86

I'm a big fan of the film, anyone else seen the trailers for this mini-series (this week I think) which appears to use the same cast?

I didn't know about the mini series but the original film is on tonight, C4 11:10.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

          Starts tomorrow.

I enjoy Shane Meadows' films so will be tuning in.

England, my England is also a good film, if slightly bizarre in places (nice music too)

That's nothing. MF has a whole skip full of "Paris 2012 Olympics" sweatshirts he needs to shift.
              Gotta be worth a punt.

I know someone that worked on the film, said it took ages.

There is a standard amount of film you should shoot to give you a minute of final film, something like 6 minutes to give you 1. (can't remember) he said this was like 10 times the amount it should have been as channel 4 seen Shane Meadows as the next big thing, really he never had a clue.

He has done bugger all since.
