    Sunday Roast in Manchester

a food related question as I'll be visiting in a few weeks for my birthday and want to take my old folks out for a good sunday lunch

where serves the best sunday roast in Manchester or it's surroundings?

possible contenders I can think of:

Uncle Sam's / Thomas Chop House
    The Ox
    The Metropolitan, Didsbury
    The Didsbury
    Market Restaurant, Northern Quarter

any comments on the above choices or other possibilities welcome

I would try Alberts Shed next to Dukes (round corner from Ox)

It's a great restaurant, not too pretin.. pretes.. posh and nice food. After food you can go for a drink in Dukes which is really nice and if the weather is nice (yer right) you get to sit outside as well.

Two of my fave haunts anyway...
