    Buying a Steam Train

FULL SIZE STEAM TRAIN Andrew Baclay 0-4-0ST on eBay (end time 02-Oct-10 16:46:34 BST)

Thinking of bidding for this. Not sure if £30k is a good price. Anyone know anything about trains?

Nah! He is too busy creaming it in over in "tax friendly" Singapore.

What a rip-off. Not a train, just an engine, not even with a coal tender!

Cracking. I got to drive something similar back in August as a late b'day present. It was the most enjoyable day I have had in a long time.

I have nothing useful to say, but I am just letting of some steam.
Looks to me like Percy from Thomas the tank engine- he was a really useful engine.
I know - ask the Fat Controller for a reference
