    Randstad Technologies

IT Jobs from IT Recruitment Agency in London & Bristol

Anyone worked through them? I may have landed a gig with them but know nothing about them?
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Randstad (as a group) are a large European Agency that have been around for many years and had a big presence in Benelux, a high street agency handling technical and managerial roles . Reed would be the nearest UK comparison.

Abraxas became Randstad Technologies, or part of it.

I've not heard much from RT, which is disappointing because Abraxas used to be one of my top callers, the number of calls from them sloped off sharply after them becomng iprofile compatible. I stopped updating them once they went iprofile ... life is too short.
As Abraxas they were proactive, one of only about 6 preferred suppliers to BT Labs/BT ExaCT and submitted me for well matched roles at blue chip companies.

    Abraxas were reputable.

I registered with RT again recently and the only contact I have had from them is from another part of the group I didn't register with, their construction and property division about some construction tulip. Why they think I'd be interested in going anywhere near a building site or construction workers is beyond me.

Been called twice by them this week, they have something big in Switzerland on the cards...
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

I worked through them for the 14 months I was in geneva. Feel free to PM me if you have any concerns.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

          I preferred version 1!

Had a five month gig with them earlier this year.

They're quite fastidious, professional, paid on time & got back to me on queries/issues if I had any.

You can't really ask any more than that.

I am currently working through them. They pay regularly monthly on the dot. No real problems with them at all.

Yes, CV and covering letter via webform to the RT site rather than the group site.
I doubt any of the agents who were with Abraxas are still with RT, otherwise I would have telephoned and followed up with CV and CL by email, as I do with most agencies.
