PS I do a 4 day week now and have negotiated that on my next job too. And still earn more than the average contractor. That's proper consultancy.
Next step: I might start a small boutique consultancy.

The dumb thing is. Once I've finished this piece of work, another part of the business has hired me to start at the end of the month to develop a second project that will effectively undermine this project.

Competitive departments within the same business, pulling against each other!!! Would never happen.

Pulling an all-nighter!
