CUK RSS latency

Not sure if this should go into the Tech section, but anyone can help with the latency of receiving new thread notices using RSS on Outlook 2007?

I subscribe to loads of blogs and have found Outlook RSS to be a convenient aggregator but is there any way of improving CUK's performance? Some new CUK threads appear to take hours before notification. Is there something I need to set or is it an unrealistic expectation? My standard Send/Receive poll is 5 mins.

Awww, c'mon Alexei - it's the only thing keeping me sane here!

I've had a tediously, boring day C# coding on my simplistic plan b, it wasn't very productive, and missed all the good ground floor entry on the CUK threads because of this RSS latency.

Still not in the RSS feed - was expecting it to appear immediately, allowing me to question your sanity. Bah.

Hey hyperD - should work a bit better now. Back end setting for RSS to be cached for 60 mins, have dropped this to 1 as this is not so busy a board that it should cause problems. I hope...

The reason I did not help much was because having rare updates to RSS feed puts less pressure on server, and also increases your visit counts - now hyperD is as good as lost

Also I was busy drinking beer...
