Proper reasons to buy an iPadMacPodLooRoll...

I'm totally sold on the iPad because I want to:

    1. Take photographs
    2. Change the battery myself if I need to
    3. Sync files over USB like a storage device
    4. Browse flash content

Woo hoo. I might just get two of them!

Yeah, it's probably worth holding fire on the iPad for a camera alone, especially given its lack of connectivity. Other pluses include the price and the unbelievable tariffs.

      Get it hammered?

When I do buy one, should I buy a hammer as well?

Samsung Galaxy tablet looks way better, but it is a lot smaller too.

I bought the iPad just for a laugh - my (very young) kids use it more than anyone for their 123/abc/colouring/cartoons etc.

        It's actually quite tulip.

It makes a fairly decent Citrix client from what I've seen.

I'd buy one just because of this...

Perhaps what really attracts me is the price.

It appears Apple kept it cheap by saving costs on design - like not bothering. Instead they've left it looking bare - just a blank panel with one button on the front and a bare silver plate on the back.

So if they made it look good, that might have pushed the price up higher. Instead, they're passing the cost saving onto me, right?

I might buy three of them!

Another pre-sales question: What does the "i" stand for in "iPad"?

                  Idiot Pad sucks...

So I keep reading all over the net that the iPad sucks.

Does this kill the battery, or is it really efficient, like a Dyson?

I haven't (and can't be bothered to) read the facts, but isn't the iPad powered by an ARM designed processor, which is present in something like 90% of mobile devices?

This makes me think it is probably very efficient compare to a tablet PC based on an Intel chip and running a full blown OS such as Win7.
