    Debenhams, Dutch style.....

    HEMA - online winkelen

    #2
No, Hema is more like the UK equivalent of Wilkinsons (possibly Woolworths) rather than a Debenhams. It's a highstreet chain. The Dutch equivalent of Debenhams is called V&D.

*edit* nice animations, never seen the online site

Oh, I’m sorry….I seem to be lost. I was looking for the sane side of town. I’d ask you for directions, but I have a feeling you’ve never been there and I’d be wasting my time.

Hema sell excellent potato peelers and a good range of affordable but good quality crockery. Other than that, I don't really go there very much.

      It's a sort of no-frills department store.

V&D is a smarter department store, and I never visit them due to the stench of perfume on the ground floor.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

        Yup, that's your Debenhams equivalent.
