If you had £10 million pounds

State exactly what you would do with it. (Or did if you are DP)

I'd put five million in a charitable trust to do good works and spend the rest on 1950's Cadillacs.
...my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

      Wine, women and hard drugs.

      The rest I'd probably waste.

        Pounds

I'd change it into a store of value ASAP.

Probably give 1 million to my folks, another million to the wifes folks and split another million amongst my brothers/sister and my wifes brothers and sisters leaving me with 7 million. A couple of nice places in different places around the world and have about £5m to see me through. Probably look at investing a million or so into property to rent to students.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

          I preferred version 1!

A friend of mine is a travel agent

He specialises in doing trips to sporting events around the world.

He's already priced up for me to go to every F1 race of the season (2010) with transport and accommodation to each race just in case I win the lottery.

The price was £76,000 with all flights, transfers, accommodation in decent hotels, tickets and meals....

Seems like a bargain - maybe I should actually buy a lotto ticket one day....

I'd convert it to euros and put it in the bank.

Then go home and read the paper with a cup of tea in hand. We don't have much need for anything else material wise.

Give a bunch away: £2m, buy or have built a house: £1m, £5m in the bank long-term, £2m in a pot for spending on holidays and so on.

Or, maybe invest £1m in hiring staff to create software projects I want to make, and "retire" to work on this stuff.

Similar, give away 3 million to family. Buy 3 million worth of flats near a University, buy a nicer house and a few cars. Invest the rest over various markets and then relax.
