Most random food in the clientco canteen?

Yesterday I had sausage, cabbage and barley soup. Sure it was coincidence that we had sausages the previous day.

What random food have you had at work?

Yours isn't "clientco", you're an employee, "die untermensch" as it were.

Those three ingredients made up a SOUP? That's disgusting.
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

Nowt wrong with cabbage and barley in a soup, but, sausage, while good food is just wrong when souped!

At anther place we always had chilli con carne on Tuesday and lasagna on Wednesday, made with left over chilli, complete with the beans. Just wrong in a lasagna.

depends on the sausage as well, a nice finely sliced corizo would go well with cabbage and barley

It was a normal type of spicy sausage, but, we did have a very nice chorizo and chickpea soup last week!! That was very tasty, despite the cardboard roll that is obligatory with every soup portion, and cannot be declined.

It is MTT Enterprises corporate gastro-intestinal health policy that directors never eat in canteens run by the Albron, Sodexho or Eurest companies, and must seek out a suitable local restaurant at every clientco site. Suitability of the restaurant will at first be judged according to reputation in a locally renowned gastronomic guide, and then by one sample visit. Satisfaction during the sample visit will invariably lead to repeat business for said restaurateur.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

I don't think that works in such a gastronomic wasteland as Swindon...
