    walking...

    bloody great!

Up in the hills, round Clumber Park or strolling round Carsington water...

    Great weather on Saturday.

Lightens the mood, time to think and the sense of achievement.

    Thinking of building up to...

    Rambling round Rutland water.

I shoudda done this when I was benched!

Endorphins - what a rush, man...

    Tone...
    - whose another 5 pounds lighter than I was two weeks ago.

Ignore the children - just thinking about a reply you gave to another post - needed to frame it from a male / female posters perspective

Perhaps one day you can build it up to a hiking and camping holiday. Cheap as chips and it saves staying in stinky hotels too.

                  Fixed That For You

however, I must agree with the walking idea, went hiking the french/italian alps border early this summer for 5 days which was extremely relaxing and spent 3 days walking around the lake district early autumn which was just as nice but very different as they were 1 day / 6-8hr walks but coming home to a fantastic B&b as a great reward for a hard days hiking, the best of both worlds :-) and gf chef very much appreciated the roll top bath at the end of the day

I love a good walk. For at least the next 12 years though I will be encumbered by children who, while they may be great fun, have no concept of just shutting up and enjoying it.
