    The first time in 17 years

    Spurs beat Woolwich Arsenal at their ground. Well done lads. Not the best performance I've ever seen from you, but you did enough.

    An important win on so many levels.

    I already heard the result but maybe you could edit the title to warn of spoilers... I'm not the only one who tries to avoid knowing results/scores until MOTD.

                Football. I see match of the day today is Crystal Palace vs somebody or other. I recall going to watch Crystal Palace v Derby in about 1963, don't think I've totally recovered from the tedium of it yet.
