How cold is it for you? Beat minus 5........

Weather like this makes me glad I have a rather retro 70's car port.

Easily beaten in Scotland, I'd imagine.

How's a carport different from a garage? Is it underground?

Global warming means continental crops could take root in Britain by 2030 - Telegraph

Olives, dates and figs could become common in Britain within 20 years as global warming improves growing conditions for subtropical crops.

Rice, usually imported from Thailand, China and the Philippines could become a staple crop for British farmers while the south coast could even support olive and apricot trees.

The change could also help tackle the growing obesity problem in Britain. A Mediterranean diet is renowned for its health benefits and longevity.

I'm getting worried about my date palms crop, but at least we'll enjoy the Mediterranean summer.

No garage is big enough for modern cars - like most, mine is full of junk.

The car port on the other hand - no doors to faff about with, just drive the car under it.

I also have 2 sheds. Livin the dream.
