The warmest place in Britain was 3 degrees C today, in the South West. At high noon.

Coldest I've experienced in the UK was -14°C in the 86/87 winter, near Farnham in Surrey.

A blistering -1°C currently in Switzerland.

Don't have an outside thermometer. But my workspace reached a new low of 10 degrees today.

Early this year it dropped to below -50 deg F for a month or two in Outer Mongolia

But a local weather station there, at Hatgal, is reporting a toasty 6 deg F.
