    Agents standards are falling somewhat.

So an agency calls up regarding a role on the dark side and mentions that I have worked with a few products made by a particular manufacturer. To which I confirmed that I had, but hadn't worked on the product for a while. The agent then goes on to tell me that there is an opportunity with the said manufacturer, and wanted to know if I have heard of them.... at that point, I wanted to burst out laughing. To make things worse, I tell the agent how long it would take me to get to the place (which is about an hour), but the agent refuses to believe me and goes and looks it up. The agent wanted to know if I would relocate for the role.

Please someone tell me that this is an exception to the rule.

If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here.

Absolutely not - I've had this kind of thing before. I reserve a particular brand of venom for these idiots. They call me, then don't even bother to listen when I'm answering their questions.

I'd have put the phone down at the location bit though.
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.
