            Why not? There's seemingly no way of getting a G5 in a Powerbook and the G4 Powerbooks are starting to look a bit lackluster.

            Also, if the Feds (or whatever powers that be) insist on a backdoor for Windows encrypted file systems, I can't see Apple, or anyone else being exempt from providing the same sort of access.

                    tell you what - I'll write em all down for you!!

                    And yes, people do write for the powerpc but read the post again and you'll notice it doesn't mention malware written for that platform, merely the proliferation of malware written for Intel which could run on the new Intel based macs.
