Fortunately not that bad here, only about 6 or 8 inches of snow. Halifax can be a bit weird, we sometimes get snow when others don't, but it's often not as bad here as it is in other areas only a few miles away.
Probably some geographical effect of the Pennine location, rain shadows and all that stuff.

We got hit in Romandie yesterday with about a foot so things where a bit turbo here yesterday.

Funny though, trains all ran on time though and today the buses where back to normal and the roads had been cleared and gritted.

I found that most odd...
