20 more shopping days til' Xmas

Remember to support your local shops and businesses where hardworking humble individuals try to scratch a living.

Remember that big stores & chains on the high street operate child labour camps & damage the planet.

    Please buy generously.

Don't talk about the finger! Had the other half working today as I've already done Mon-Fri(well Wed was a know show) and I'm working tomorrow. So was looking after the kiddy winkies.

Our little boy decided to fill his nappy copious times today. There is only so many times you can change a nappy without dipping a bandaged finger in the contents!!!

        Ooh, thanks for sharing.

How is business going? It seems to me there are fewer people in the shops.

Actually the weather had been good for us this time.At the beginning of the year in Jan/Feb(whenever it was) it killed us dead. Combination of offsetting by selling sledges and the fact that people are buying locally have me 13% above target at the moment. If my last sledge order had been filled(!!!!!!)

Aye, last Sunday local high street was very busy - guess snow helps some trade!

              What's flying off the shelves?

              Snow related items?

Surely, no one is buying furniture at this time of year.

My local Tesco was choca-block today.

I reckon you might be wrong, there. But I'd like MF's view.

I suspect there's a lot of decorating and "We need a new suite/dining table/spare bed if your mother's coming" in December.
My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.
