    BBC News article of the day:

    BBC News - Troops back armoured underwear dubbed 'combat codpiece'

    Genuine coffee+keyboard moment when I read that article - but after reading it, surprised they haven't had this sort of kit as standard issue for a while. Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere.

    On first reading it seems quite silly, but it does make sense when you think about it. Aircraft and lots of military vehicles have armoured seats.
