Yup, that internet hype has been going on for nearly 70 years.
IMDB has been going for 70 years! Wow!
That film was a box office flop, made a loss, and got no awards, BTW. Its success is a modern phenomenon. It is the Merkin Christmas Carol, but without the good writing, plot, characterisation or script.
It is a silly film, with a contrived plot, a silly premise and a childish ending.
The Snow Goose is a far, far better example of the genre. But that was a British film, so does not count on IMDB.
For me, it is slow, tedious, artificially sentimental bollocks.
Aye.
Whoever heard of a run on a savings and loan bank?
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
