    Erm, no. Again!

Change in law could leave Bomber Command Memorial with £250k VAT bill - Telegraph

The Bomber Command Memorial to 55,573 airmen who died in the Second World War could be hit by a £250,000 VAT bill because of a change in the law.

So the brave men of bomber command may have to wait for their memorial due to a change in VAT brought in by the current government. Oops, sorry, I meant those nasty Lib Dems.
I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!

Nothing wrong with that - the fact that VAT is levied on work/materials does not in any way reduce the sacrifice those men and women did: reward for them should be memories of what they did, not some tax loophole.

There must be a million heart-string plucking stories of things that'll be worse because of tax rises, and probably most of them have more practical purposes than a memorial. If you're going to get all emotional about brave men of bomber command, why not get all emotional about the insult of their memory being used for cheap political capital, not to mention an attempt to sell newspapers?
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

You will have to excuse the inane rantings of BB. He only takes his head out of his arse long enough each day to froth at the mouth over the Wail's latest expose!!
He takes himself quite seriously.............which leaves him in a minority of one!!
