    Dilema

I know I shouldn't do business on promises and maybe's , but I have had an interview for an interesting role, possible good long term opportunities - very good rate plus all expenses paid. Interview was by the consultancy, they have said yes, but they need the client to rubber stamp it - the person they need is on holiday and they can't get hold of him !!!!! I have another interview lined up later today and they have said if all goes well and if everyone is happy they will offer the job at interview - rate is not as good, but a lot more than I am on currently. I know I should take the job offered tonight (depending on interview), but the other one is very tempting ! Both agencies involved are aware of of what I have lined up.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Unless, of course, that bird happens to be an enraged larger parrot; in which case I would suggest you seek prompt medical treatment.
Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.
threadeds website, and here's my blog.

ok, I can tell you how to be really gutted...

Quit from the job you have

Turn down the one from later this afternoon, don't even bother doing the interview - the other one is more money right !

Hold out for the one with the higher rate where the decision maker is on holiday

This time next week, he decides all bets are off

      You're left to swim

      Nice

      Milan.

Here is a thousand pounds. Here might be 1500 pounds in three weeks time if you;re lucky and if nobody changes their mind or if somebody doesn't offer to do it for £1200 or...

        And the answer is...?
        Blog? What blog...?

          Malvolio,

I made a post to you last week with a question and you never answered.

You have the XC90 don't you, is it the diesel with the auto box ?

I am thinking/dreaming (delete as applicable) to get one later this year - on the condition I've been in work all year

How do you find it, are they reliable or in the garage regularly with costly problems

If you had the choice of a 2 year old xc90 diesel auto or a 2 year old toureg diesel auto which would you get and why

          Thanks,

          Milan.

FFS it's dilemma, die fu*king lemma. Never post spelling mistakes on here - you can express religious hatred, be a socialist or even a gay butt slammer, but never, ever spell incorectly.

Shouldn't it be gay butt-slammer as otherwise it's rather ambiguous?

                    Dilemma

Ok - Dilemma was the wrong term. I know what I should do. Just never been offered (or nearly offered) a contract with full expenses.
