    Boom-didi-boomed!

I've just had confirmation of a new gig, starting Monday - reasonably high-profile client, and less than three miles from home

The rate isn't what I'd expect to get working in London/South East, but taking into account the lack of running expenses like hotels and eating out every evening, it works out about the same

This will be the first time I've worked for a client within daily commuting distance since 2004

      Good job.

Do not forget to inform the wife.
Her evening schedule will be thoroughly fcuked. And maybe the schedule of the father of her children too.

              Brilliant!

So you've managed to secure a very poor paying contract in the most expensive part of the UK under a period of massive inflation.

              Well done chap!

                Well done.

Just remember what I told you.

                1) Dont correct your bosses grammar during the briefing meeting
                2) Do remember to test on old versions of IE before deployment
                3) Dont keep saying 'it's user error'
                4) Dont stay up all night posting on CUK
                5) and for gods sake don't punch anyone out!
